History[]
James Falsworth, the original Union Jack, began as a World War II-era British super-soldier and ally to Captain America. Retiring after the war, the modern Union Jack is Joseph Chapman, who took up the identity to save Falsworth from a villain named Baron Blood. Though Captain Britain is more popular among the upper classes as a superhero, Union Jack's humbler origins and where his sympathies lie makes him a favorite among the middle-class. The contrast between Captain Britain and Union Jack has resulted in a bitter rivalry between the two but their main goals are ultimately the same.

Union Jack wears a blue ski mask, a shirt bearing the colors of the British flag in the pattern of the Union Jack, blue pants, red shooting gloves, and a brown utility belt holstering his pistol.
