History[]
Ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Tony Masters uses his extraordinary ability to capture his foes' melee combat moves in his mind and replicate them with his photographic memory to make illicit profit as the assassin and super-villain trainer Taskmaster. A stone-cold killer, Taskmaster has run into numerous super-characters over the years, including the Avengers and Deadpool. After many years of hating the Avengers, Taskmaster became a reluctant ally of theirs and his archenemy, Nick Fury, joining the covert group named the Secret Avengers.
Appearance[]
Taskmaster wears a skull-like facemask, a white hood, a blue shirt with a harness to carry his bow, a brown collar, a brown belt bearing a T, white shorts, blue pants, a quiver containing arrows on his back, white gloves, a white cape, a sword in his right hand, and a shield bearing a T in his left.
Abilities[]
- Sword and Shield: Taskmaster uses his sword and shield to kill enemies in close-quarters combat and can use his shield to deflect enemy fire and laser beams and put out fires beneath him.
- Bow and Trick Arrows: Taskmaster, though he does not kill enemies with his bow and arrows in close quarters combat like Hawkeye, uses them to execute enemies with regular arrows from afar, blow up silver LEGO objects using explosive arrows, and latch onto special grapple points with grapple/rope arrows.

- Taskmaster's special move is to uppercut the enemy with his shield.
