History[]
The Roxxon Energy Corporation, formerly the Roxxon Oil Company, is a petroleum corporation responsible for arranging for the assassination of Tony Stark's parents, the controlling forces behind its greatest competition, Stark Industries. Because Roxxon is willing to challenge the authority of multiple recognized world governments and use unscrupulous business tactics, it is thought of as a force for corruption by many superheroes, like Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider-Man, and benevolent organizations, like the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D..
