Iron Man (Mark 1) is a playable character in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and LEGO Marvel's Avengers.
Role in the story (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes)[]
The only level Iron Man (Mark 1) is in is the Rebooted, Resuited mission. In that mission, near the beginning in the first area, you play as Tony Stark and Captain America, once you get past the blue walls of lasers, you have to get Iron Man's keycard to the spot that it goes in to open the area where the Iron Man (Mark 1) suit is. You have to walk up to it as Tony Stark and press the special button and he jumps into it and comes back out with the Iron Man (Mark 1) armour on. For most of the rest of the level, you play as Iron Man (Mark 1) until you suit up in the Iron Man (Mark 42) suit.
Appearance[]
In LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Iron Man (Mark 1) appears all grey with an arc reactor on his chest. Sometimes, if you don't move for a long time, he opens his mask up and you see Tony Stark's face and he waves.
His outfit in LEGO Marvel's Avengers is the same as his outfit in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, but he has different animations. He has an idle animation of him opening his mask, breathing heavily and wiping his forehead.
History[]
Tony Stark was a billionaire philanthropist until he took a trip to somewhere in the Middle East with the army. After the army members he was with has been killed Tony Stark ran behind a rock and someone threw a grenade and it exploded and Tony Stark got knocked out. He woke up in a cave captured by The Ten Rings. After a little time in the cave, Tony Stark ended up building a suit which was Iron Man (Mark I). He used that for his escape from the Ten Rings jail cave and ended up later being one of the members of the Avengers. He also has a tower called Stark Tower which later became Avengers Tower.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes[]
- Smart - Iron Man (Mark 1) is smart so he can use technology panels and do whatever puzzle awaits.
- Brief hover - Iron Man (Mark 1) can't hover like other characters like Storm or M.O.D.O.K., he can only hover for about a second or two and just falls back down onto the ground.
- Explosives - He has explosives, so he can destroy silver LEGO bits and also destroy regular objects a lot faster.
- Repulsors - Iron Man (Mark 1) has repulsor blasts so that he can get rid of enemies pretty fast.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril[]
- Explosives - He has explosives, so he can destroy silver LEGO bits.
LEGO Marvel's Avengers[]
- Smart - Iron Man (MK1) is smart, so he can use technology panels and do whatever puzzle awaits.
- Scan - Iron Man (MK1) can scan for hidden objects. Unlike most characters, he does not need to do a minigame to uncover the object.
- Repair - Iron Man (MK1) can repair objects that are glowing blue.
- Explosives - He has explosives, so he can destroy silver LEGO bits and also destroy regular objects a lot faster.
- Flamethrower - Iron Man (MK1) has a flamethrower built into his armour which can melt gold and ice at short distances.
- Avengers Team-Up - Iron Man (MK1) can scan-in and use Avengers team-up pads with other Avengers.
- Suit Screen - Iron Man (MK1) has a screen which he can change armours with.
- Repulsors - Iron Man (MK1) has repulsor blasts so that he can get rid of enemies pretty fast.
How to Unlock[]
- In LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, complete Rebooted, Resuited.
- In the portable version (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril), complete the Stark Labs stage of Stark Tower.
- In LEGO Marvel's Avengers, in the Malibu basement, use Scarlet Witch or another magic character to destroy and build a switch, which will make the character token appear.
- In the portable version, find his character token in Saving New York.
Notes[]
- In the console version of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, the character is named Iron Man (Mark 1), but in the portable version (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril) the character is named Iron Man (Mk1) and in LEGO Marvel's Avengers, they're named Iron Man (MK1).
